Role Overview

The Engineering Manager will work closely with various teams to transition a product from development to production phase. The role requires a good understanding of product lifecycle, especially related to GaAs and GaN MMICs. The EM will be accountable for the design, build, and validation of Test Boards and Test Fixtures, and will assist the quality team in moving the product through qualification.

What You Will Do

Develop Test Boards, work with CAD and Mechanical design teams, create formal drawings, work with Project Management team, create assembly drawings, work with assembly team, verify functionality of the TB on the RF test bench, translate the TB into production Test Fixtures, and formulate and perform gauge R&R studies.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in a supervisory position, a good understanding of RF and Microwave test equipment, experience with AutoCAD and/or Solidworks, and strong statistical skills. The candidate should be able to work on own initiative, have strong oral and written communication skills, and be a team player.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in a supervisory position
  • Experience managing a multi-functional engineering development group
  • Ability to manage a team of engineers
  • Good understanding of RF and Microwave test equipment
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
  • Experience with circuit level analysis tools
  • Experience with 3D EM simulation tools
  • Strong statistical skills
  • BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred
