Role OverviewWe are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead major hardware/software activities for flight units, ground systems, off-site laboratory equipment, accessories, and unique testing equipment. The role involves managing technical scope oversight, budget estimating and monitoring, schedule development and maintenance, and risk development and monitoring.
What You Will Do
Manage the technical scope oversight, budget estimating and monitoring, schedule development and maintenance, and risk development and monitoring. Manage expectations and communication with contract and customer stakeholders, including organization of regular meetings to support successful product delivery.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, science, or project management
- 8+ years’ experience as a project manager, project engineer, systems engineer, subtask lead, or similar role in the aerospace industry
- Previous working experience with NASA or a NASA contractor
- Experience in customer interfacing role
- Cost account management experience and reporting
- Experience and understanding of configuration management for documentation and hardware/software
- Experience leading negotiations with subcontractors/vendors and completing procurement
