Job Description

Responsibilities include identifying and improving quality and productivity, generating continuous improvement projects, and implementing lean manufacturing methodologies.

Requirements

  • Team player that works with cross functional teams to improve Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale metrics
  • Has interest in High Pressure Die Casting, CNC Machining and Assembly processes
  • Has knowledge and interest to learn process design and process costing for productivity
  • Identify and improve Quality and Productivity to achieve daily results
  • Generate continuous improvement projects / Kaizen activities
  • Able to operate equipment’s as needed and to be able to understand current process to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Open, learn and implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies for improvements
  • Diagnose the issues and develop root cause for countermeasure activity
  • Make summary reports for assigned projects in a set frequency and be able to present factual data for consensus and drive path forward
