Job Description
AM General develops and builds specialized ground vehicle systems. This role will assist in implementing packaging development process, ensuring compliance with government requirements, and troubleshooting packaging problems. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing engineering or packaging engineering and experience in automotive assembly or heavy equipment plants.

Requirements

  • Senior-level undergraduate students or recent graduates in Manufacturing Processes or Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience in an automotive assembly or heavy equipment plant is a plus
  • Basic understanding of establishing distribution operation layouts and cost proposals
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training and Certification or equivalent a plus
