Role Overview

You will be responsible for leading a team of engineering technicians who will maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade gantry systems, filling systems, dispensing systems and other equipment used in the production of Nova Biomedicals Consumable Products. The primary objective is to minimize equipment downtime, ensure efficient manufacturing operations, and drive continuous improvement through preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

What You Will Do

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of engineering technicians supporting production equipment, assign and prioritize work to ensure timely response to equipment issues and production needs, provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to technicians, oversee troubleshooting of dispensing gantry systems utilizing camera positioning systems, and ensure rigorous daily/weekly maintenance of dispense systems and associated equipment.

10+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred, ability to work independently as well as part of a cross functional team, must demonstrate attention to detail and prioritize workload, efficient response to issues as they arise to minimize delays in manufacturing, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment
