Role OverviewThis position is located in the District 1 Resident Engineers Office in Robeson County. The Engineering Technician I will perform routine inspection on contractor construction projects, maintain daily pay records, and ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications.
What You Will Do
Perform routine inspections, maintain daily records, ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications, and monitor subcontractors for DBE or MB/WB participation.

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Survey Technology, or a related curriculum
- Knowledge of standards and specifications and plan reading experience
- Experience maintaining standard daily records and reports
- Knowledge and skill in the use of computer equipment, iPad, and software
- Ability to conduct routine inspections for compliance with contract agreements, standard/codes, and specifications
