Role OverviewAssist with fitting and welding, operate saws, grinders, and other tools, and work under the guidance of experienced fabricators. Work in a fabrication shop, following safety procedures and guidelines.
What You Will Do
Lift, position, and move workpieces, operate shop machinery, and help move and organize materials. Follow instructions and maintain precision in fabrication tasks.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, physical fitness, and a willingness to learn. Prior fabrication experience or completion of a relevant trade school or technical program is preferred.
Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience
- US Citizenship
- Secret security clearance or ability to obtain
- Associates Degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience
