Role OverviewBASIS San Antonio Jack Lewis Jr. Campus is seeking a 7th-9th Grade English Teacher to join our bright, passionate team. The role of the English Teacher (SET) is to ensure the day-to-day exceptional education of students by preparing and facilitating subject specific lesson plans.
What You Will Do
Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans, provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment, implement the BASIS Curriculum, and collaborate with other teachers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in subject matter, a valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and 2+ years of teaching/education experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)
- Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
