Job Description
The English Teacher role is responsible for ensuring girls master state standards and achieve academic success in 6-12 English / language arts. The teacher is responsible for designing standards-based lesson plans, using formal and informal assessment to monitor progress, and creating a safe and supportive classroom environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Hold an active Statement of Eligibility, Temporary or Professional Teaching Certificate from FLDOE
  • Knowledge of subject area – comfortable teaching ELA for grades 6-12
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
