Job Description
The Enrichment Teacher will teach three classes each day of approximately 20 scholars per class, providing high-quality enrichment instruction and creating opportunities for scholars to showcase their learning. The position is a seasonal, in-person position, and the schedule includes mandatory training in preparation for the 5-week summer program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with at least two (2) years of teaching experience with students in urban settings that resulted in high student outcomes
  • Open to receiving and implementing feedback
  • Engages in constant reflection of your work–not just what you do but how you do it
  • Shows resiliency in the face of challenges
  • Consistently demonstrates a positive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Is a flexible thinker willing to do “whatever it takes”
  • Willing to adhere to all program professionalism expectations (e.g. on time arrival, consistent daily attendance, appropriate dress, respectful communication with scholars, families, and staff)
  • Believes in FSLA’s mission and instructional model and have a ferocious desire to provide our scholars with a world-class education
