Role OverviewErias Ventures is seeking a Cloud System Administrator to perform basic Linux tasks, including SSH remote connections, software installation (RPM, YUM), and working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Traefik. The candidate will join a team that helps vet and onboard DIB companies with the variety of services the CCC Partnerships Team offers. This position may allow for partial telework.
What You Will Do
Perform basic Linux administration tasks such as SSH remote connections and software installation. Manage and monitor large Hadoop clusters. Support the vetting and onboarding of DIB companies with CCC Partnerships Team services.

Candidates should have a Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification with five years of experience managing large Hadoop clusters. Required skills include Linux, Docker, Helm charts, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Traefik. A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required, and candidates cannot be sponsored for a clearance.
Requirements
- Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certification with five (5) years of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or four years of additional experience in lieu of degree)
