Role OverviewThe Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining and implementing enterprise architecture frameworks that align technology solutions with Dallas County's strategic IT objectives. This role provides technical leadership in designing, integrating, and optimizing applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, databases, and security systems.
What You Will Do
Lead the design and deployment of large-scale, high-impact IT solutions, ensure enterprise solutions are secure, scalable, and meet business objectives, and provide technical leadership to development, engineering, and operations teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a solution architecture or senior technical role
- Expertise in enterprise IT architecture, cloud computing, and infrastructure design
- Strong background in DevOps, automation, API integration, and security best practices
- Experience working with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Architect
- TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certifications
- ITIL Intermediate or Advanced Certification
