Role OverviewThe Enterprise Planning & Engineering (EP&E) Specialist is an entry-level engineering position designed to develop future technical leaders within R+L Carriers. Working alongside experienced engineers, this role supports company-wide initiatives including Network Optimization, Pricing Improvement, Capacity Planning, Linehaul Optimization, and other strategic engineering projects.
What You Will Do
Analyzes optimization and modeling to determine data required to develop project solutions, performs cost-benefit analyses to ensure effective use of resources, and resolves conflicts and clarifies communications with stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote)
- Exposure to Python, R, SQL, VBA, or similar coding tools for data analysis, automation, optimization or reporting
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
