Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a skilled Enterprise System Administrator III to join its infrastructure team and support a large-scale, hybrid enterprise environment. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, automation, and multi-cloud operations, along with a passion for reliability, security, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Administer and troubleshoot enterprise Active Directory, including users, groups, GPOs, OU structure, delegation, gMSAs, and security best practices.
  • Own the full Windows Server lifecycle: build, standardize, upgrade, and decommission systems.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity using SCOM and automation tools.
  • Support on-premises and hybrid Windows workloads across VMware, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate Windows security controls, including firewall configuration, antivirus, and OS hardening.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
