Job Description
The Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects and programs in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Authority's Information Technology (IT) systems and applications.

Requirements

  • Directs, plans, assigns, and coordinates work for the Enterprise Systems team and contractors
  • Provides leadership, vision, and direction to the Enterprise Systems team
  • Analyzes systems to determine effectiveness and recommends solutions
  • Performs Systems Administration of Linux based systems and Database Administration
  • Develops and implements systems and programming standards, project management standards, best practices, templates, and tools
  • Evaluates new systems and programs, serves as a technical resource for systems management, and interfaces with internal/external personnel
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; reviewing job performance
  • Identifies when systems applications, software, hardware, components, or other peripheral devices of the assigned systems are near exhausting expected life cycles
