Role OverviewAECOM's Digital Practice and Technology group is seeking an Entry-Level BIM Specialist to support BIM professionals while learning industry standards, software, and project workflows.
What You Will Do
The selected candidate will assist with creating and modifying 3D models, 3D CAD elements, and point cloud data, and work under direct supervision.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or Architecture
- US Citizenship
- Knowledge of point cloud, LiDAR, and survey data and their application within BIM and digital engineering workflows
- Understanding of how survey and point cloud data is collected, processed, and incorporated into 3D models and design platforms
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM environments
- Willingness to travel to project sites for model validation, field coordination, data collection, and project support activities
- Demonstrated desire to learn and adapt to new software applications, digital workflows, and emerging technologies
- Interest in advancing skills related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, scripting, coding, and data-driven BIM solutions
- Familiarity with programming languages or tools such as Python, C#, VBA, PowerShell, Dynamo, Grasshopper, or Bentley/OpenRoads automation tools
