Role OverviewThe entry-level laborer has limited or no experience in commercial concrete construction yet brings an excellent attitude with a willingness to learn, work hard, and improve their skills. This role supports all functions of commercial concrete projects through housekeeping, toting materials, setting formwork, shoring, and placing concrete.
What You Will Do
Safely perform general labor tasks on concrete construction sites, including power and standard hand tools. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a hard hat, high-visibility apparel, and additional protection as required by the task. Assist with moving materials by hand, placing concrete, installing, restoring, and maintaining clean, well-organized job sites.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Communicate effectively with your crew lead, foreman, and superintendent on safety, ask questions, and problem-solve. Work in a variable environment, both indoors and outdoors. When required, work during inclement weather, including extreme heat/cold.
Requirements
- Leather work boots (steel or composite toe protection are recommended)
- Hand Tools
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
