Job Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the foundation of community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Entry Level Swim Instructor shadows and assists with instruction and motivation for students in swimming classes.

Requirements

  • At a minimum, some high school level education (over 16+ years of age)
  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification, and Emergency Oxygen from the Red Cross
  • YMCA Swim Instructor certification or equivalent
