Role OverviewAtlantic Health Newton Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping) to work 11:00PM-7:00AM, including rotating weekends. The Environmental Aide I is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing floor, walls, patient rooms, public bathrooms, and offices.
What You Will Do
Checks EVS cart, ensures proper chemical supplies are stocked, cleans and sanitizes floor, walls, patient rooms, public bathrooms, and offices, removes trash, and brings soiled linens to soiled linen room.

Requirements
- HS diploma or GED equivalent required or will obtain within 1 year of employment
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to apply elementary math functions and to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital/healthcare environment preferred
