Role OverviewAs an Environmental Driver Specialist CDLB, you will be responsible for packing, transporting, and properly disposing of waste materials in accordance with environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This position requires the maintenance of records with accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to follow instruction, and to work independently once provided proper training.
What You Will Do
You will be traveling to locations along an assigned route, loading and securing materials and waste, preparing and loading truck with necessary supplies, providing customer service, performing pre-trip and post-trip checks, and following routing software route schedule.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Hazmat endorsement, and the ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check. You will be provided with a company card to pay for a hotel and given a daily stipend to cover food and other expenses.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Understand, read, and write English
- Able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc)
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Hazmat endorsement
- Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
