Role OverviewAs an Environmental Engineer, you will work as a strategic partner with production staff to achieve desired environmental management priorities. You will be responsible for local, state, and federal permitting and reporting, environmental plan development, employee training, regulatory and corporate policy compliance, audits, and inspections of sites. You will also participate in sustainability efforts and provide insight with mine planning and real estate management.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include local, state, and federal permitting and reporting, environmental plan development, employee training, regulatory and corporate policy compliance, audits, and inspections of sites. You will also be responsible for ongoing improvement related to air/water/land quality, wetlands, floodplains, water appropriation, and associated environmental media.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mining Engineering, and Environmental Science, Geology or closely related discipline or equivalent experience
- Prior experience with environmental compliance and aggregates industry
- Background in air and water permitting, testing/sampling, recordkeeping, and reporting
