Role Overview

The Environmental Engineer is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance at our secondary lead recycling facility. Responsibilities involve engaging a wide range of stakeholders including operations teams and regulators.

What You Will Do

Develop working knowledge of existing operations and processes to aid compliance with relevant regulatory standards, support capital project teams by providing environmental input and requirements, and serve as a technical resource for environmental compliance and continuous improvement to the site operations team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited College or University
  • 3+ years of previous work experience in an environmental compliance related role with a consulting firm or manufacturing business
  • Previous work experience with facilitating regulators and on-site contractors
