Role OverviewThe Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager will lead the O&M teams in a top-tier safety culture and manage EH&S safety practices. This EH&S Manager will implement, administer, develop, and improve EH&S programs, assist management in injury and illness prevention, and ensure operations are following local, state and federal environmental and safety regulations.
What You Will Do
Manage city, county, state and federal compliance requirements, conduct plant audits, analyze data from incident history, behavioral observations, hazard reports, and plant audits to identify plant performance trends, collect and analyze data from safety programs, manage and facilitate plant safety education programs, conduct new employee onboarding, and develop and administer safety training presentations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
3 or more years of experience leading, mentoring, and coaching the EH&S function in a manufacturing setting, experience creating and delivering training programs, and a Bachelor’s in occupational health and safety and/or a CSP designation desired (not required).
