Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to be responsible for a broad range of tasks which support all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at APP. Requirements

  • Aid in developing Health and Safety Programs and Procedures
  • Conduct or direct testing of air quality, noise, and temperature
  • Develop a Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis for Industrial Accidents
  • Experience with regulatory reporting
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes
  • Recommend process and product safety features
  • Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment
  • Oversee the installation of safety devices
  • Assist in the investigation of industrial accidents
  • Report or review findings
  • Conduct or coordinate worker training
  • Provide technical advice and guidance
  • Interpret safety regulations
  • Maintain liaisons with outside organizations
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data
  • Plan and conduct industrial hygiene research
