Role OverviewThe Environmental Health & Safety Generalist works with site EH&S and Operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. This role is an essential part of the team in Lenexa, KS, and involves supporting Collins Aerospace standards and implementing high-risk control programs in a complex manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
The EH&S Generalist is responsible for ensuring company compliance with existing, new, and emerging federal, state, and international environmental and safety and health regulations. This requires developing and deploying environmental and safety and health policies, systems, programs, and processes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. EH&S experience in the Aerospace Industry is preferred, and knowledge/experience of avionics/aerospace is a plus.
