Role OverviewThe Environmental Health & Safety Site Manager promotes and supports MEI's accident and injury-free safety initiatives, programs, and policies. They work to minimize risk of personal injury, mitigate the impact on resources and equipment, and investigate near-misses, accidents, or injuries. The role involves developing and executing EHS policies, guidelines, procedures, and programs related to MEI's safety initiatives, culture, regulatory changes, and business growth.
What You Will Do
The Environmental Health & Safety Site Manager will proactively identify, develop, and maintain all EHS policies, guidelines, procedures, and programs. They will support MEI sites with required training, provide program technical and administrative support, and work with the Incident Review Board and Site management to manage incidents and accident cases.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in occupational safety, industrial relations, construction management, or related field
- Five (5) years' verifiable EH & S experience in management or role with progressive responsibilities
- Safety related professional certification helpful, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to think critically and have sound judgement and decision-making skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with Excel or similar software necessary
- Ability to learn new software quickly
- Bilingual in English / Spanish helpful but not required
