Role OverviewThe Environmental Manager will maintain, develop, and implement Environmental Programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and corporate environmental policies. This role will serve as a resource to the Kingsport Mill Operations and Maintenance Departments to ensure that systems and processes are established to meet or exceed environmental regulations and Domtar performance standards.
What You Will Do
The Environmental Manager will conduct tasks within and serve as a subject matter expert for the structured EMS system, manage all aspects of the on-site Wastewater lab, identify trends in recurring environmental incidents, and facilitate teams to address them. Additionally, the Environmental Manager will participate in corporate sponsored environmental audits, maintain certification in EPA Method 9 visual opacity measurement, and ensure accurate and complete reports to Environmental Regulatory Agencies.

The successful candidate will have a B.S. Degree in science, engineering, or environmental related fields, 7+ years of experience in environmental management, and experience in environmental permitting, including Title V air permits. The candidate will also have knowledge of Water and Air programs, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
