Job Description
Brown and Caldwell has an immediate opening for a Sr Associate Environmental Engineer or Civil Engineer to grow our Permitting and Compliance team based in Boise, Idaho. This role offers a chance to mentor and lead more junior technical staff while making a significant impact on environmental management and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field) required; MS degree preferred.
A minimum of 4-6 years of directly applicable experience as described above.
PE certification required in state of ID or ability to receive reciprocity.
Knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulations is required.
Excellent technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually essential.
Ability to work well independently and in team environments.
The candidate should have the ability to successfully collaborate with BC’s local, regional, and national Compliance and Permitting practitioners.
Highly responsive, capable of working in a diverse team environment and handling multiple tasks with competing priorities.
Positive, can-do attitude, flexible, and self-motivated.
Ability to work in a virtual environment across multiple company teams.
Candidate will have strong verbal/written communication skills, report writing, computer (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project / task management skills required; experience with MS Project a plus.
Capable of producing high quality products on schedule and within budgets.
