Job Description
Brown and Caldwell has an immediate opening for a Sr Associate Environmental Engineer or Civil Engineer to grow our Permitting and Compliance team based in Boise, Idaho. This role offers a chance to mentor and lead more junior technical staff while making a significant impact on environmental management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field) required; MS degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of directly applicable experience as described above.
  • PE certification required in state of ID or ability to receive reciprocity.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State environmental regulations is required.
  • Excellent technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually essential.
  • Ability to work well independently and in team environments.
  • The candidate should have the ability to successfully collaborate with BC’s local, regional, and national Compliance and Permitting practitioners.
  • Highly responsive, capable of working in a diverse team environment and handling multiple tasks with competing priorities.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, flexible, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment across multiple company teams.
  • Candidate will have strong verbal/written communication skills, report writing, computer (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project / task management skills required; experience with MS Project a plus.
  • Capable of producing high quality products on schedule and within budgets.
