Environmental Planner 1

As an Environmental Planner 1, you will work in our Transportation Business Group as a member of our Environmental Sciences and Planning Section, based out of either our Nashville or Brentwood, Tennessee offices. You will collect and report project-related environmental data, prepare NEPA documents, and assist clients with permit coordination and acquisition.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include collecting and reporting environmental data, preparing NEPA documents, participating in public and client information meetings, and managing environmental projects.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills, strong project management skills, and experience delivering complex environmental projects. AICP certification and local candidates are preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resources or Planning
• At least 5 years of environmental experience
• Experience delivering a variety of complex environmental projects and programs
• Strong project management skills
• AICP certification
