Role OverviewHDR is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Planner 1 to work in our Transportation Business Group as a member of our Environmental Sciences and Planning Section, based out of either our Nashville or Brentwood, Tennessee offices.
What You Will Do
Collect and report project-related environmental data, including research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, and field investigations of environmental features. Prepare NEPA documents, including associated technical memoranda. Prepare for and participate in public and client information meetings and hearings. Assist public and private clients with permit coordination, acquisition, and compliance for wetland impacts, bridge construction, and threatened/endangered species.
