Job Description
The Environmental Project Manager will perform professional environmental analyses and oversight, covering a broad array of topics in connection with DCAMM’s mission. The position requires a motivated person that can proactively manage and complete multiple projects with varying schedules.
Requirements
Identify, review and advise project teams about applicable state and federal statutes, regulations and policies
Review scientific reports, studies and analytical data on environmental impacts and processes
Write memoranda, letters and general reports concerning the environment
Inspect properties and project locations
Participate in meetings with agency staff, contractors and/or interested parties on environmental issues
Assist in determining compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations and recommend actions, if needed
Assist in educating staff on applicable statutes and regulations
Oversee and/or assist in the preparation of environmental permit applications
Appropriately employ available technologies and programs to track environmental data
Oversee and inspect environmental consultant work, including field work
Provide expertise in the collection of environmental samples and laboratory analyses
Review environmental consulting services proposals and contracts
Advise legal staff on environmental matters
