Job Description
The Environmental Project Manager will perform professional environmental analyses and oversight, covering a broad array of topics in connection with DCAMM’s mission. The position requires a motivated person that can proactively manage and complete multiple projects with varying schedules.

Requirements

  • Identify, review and advise project teams about applicable state and federal statutes, regulations and policies
  • Review scientific reports, studies and analytical data on environmental impacts and processes
  • Write memoranda, letters and general reports concerning the environment
  • Inspect properties and project locations
  • Participate in meetings with agency staff, contractors and/or interested parties on environmental issues
  • Assist in determining compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations and recommend actions, if needed
  • Assist in educating staff on applicable statutes and regulations
  • Oversee and/or assist in the preparation of environmental permit applications
  • Appropriately employ available technologies and programs to track environmental data
  • Oversee and inspect environmental consultant work, including field work
  • Provide expertise in the collection of environmental samples and laboratory analyses
  • Review environmental consulting services proposals and contracts
  • Advise legal staff on environmental matters
