What You Will Do
Teach classes as assigned, deliver instruction in alignment with the Student-Centered Active Education model, and contribute to a learning culture by participating in academic advising, curriculum development, and supporting campus events.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 semester credits or 24 quarter credits in the area of the course(s) assigned to teach, and 4 years of industry experience since the completion of the qualifying degree.
Requirements
- A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 semester credits or 24 quarter credits in the area of the course(s) assigned to teach
- 4 years of industry experience since the completion of the qualifying degree
- Familiarity with the Canvas learning management system
- Familiarity with learner-centered, active learning, and problem-based and project-based learning and teaching methodologies
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
