Role OverviewThe Environmental Science Intern will support the EPP team in both the field and office, working with cutting-edge technology, learning industry's best practices, and collaborating with experienced professionals in a globally recognized firm.
What You Will Do
Job Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: working with the AECOM ecological team to become familiar with field survey equipment, data forms, and other data collection and reporting tools; assisting AECOM ecological teams in performing stream, wetland, wildlife habitat assessments, and other ecological field surveys.

The selected candidate must be available to work in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, or Virginia on a scheduled basis, and must have strong written and verbal communication skills, strong data analysis and document preparation experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Requirements
- pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Environmental Studies, GIS, or in another related field
- completed at least 2 years of study
- Valid US Driver's License
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis and document preparation experience in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat
