Role Overview

As an Environmental Scientist / Stormwater Inspector, you will work on a wide variety of environmental compliance and natural resources projects, including water resources, transportation, and development projects. You will work under the supervision of mid-level and senior environmental scientist and water resource engineers, and assist with environmental permits, NEPA documentation, biological assessments, and other environmental compliance documentation.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include working on environmental compliance and natural resources projects, assisting with environmental permits, performing field work, and collecting natural resource data. You will also be responsible for completing field site visits and recording natural resource data in various conditions.

We are looking for a team player with excellent writing and communication skills, knowledge of wetland delineation, field investigation techniques, and agency coordination requirements. You will work in a minimally supervised and/or unsupervised environment, and must be able to effectively communicate in person, by telephone, and by email.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or closely related field
  • Knowledge of wetland delineation, field investigation techniques, and agency coordination requirements
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • MS Office experience
