Job Description
The Department of Mental Health is seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the role as an Environmental Service Specialist II to keep the buildings in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow oral and written instruction
  • Ability to understand and apply the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, etc. governing assigned unit activities
  • Ability to deal tactfully with others
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Physical stamina and endurance
  • Knowledge of the methods followed in building custodial work
  • Knowledge of the types and uses of materials, tools and equipment used in building custodial work
  • Given the population we serve, bilingual or multilingual fluency
