Role OverviewThe Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeper) is responsible for maintaining an aseptic environment in the hospital by cleaning walls, lights, fixtures, and furniture. They also clean floors, carpeting, and stairwells, and assist with heavy cleaning throughout the hospital.
What You Will Do
The role involves coordinating with nursing staff and supervisors to clean occupied rooms, using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques, and performing periodic detail cleaning. The Aide will also dry mop and damp mop corridors, spot wash corridor and elevator landings, and maintain all carpets.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a 'can do' attitude, display excellent customer service skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be able to read and follow instructions, and have the ability to become proficient in all aspects of the position within three months.
Requirements
