Environmental Services Associate / SEIU - J (Housekeeping-PT) Allegheny Valley Hospital

Requirements

• Perform timely patient room cleaning and provide cleaning support to various departments
• Clean daily in all areas including discharge cleaning, patient room cleaning, cycle cleaning, office cleaning and all ancillary area cleaning
• Replenish dispensers in all required areas and collect all receptacles
• Complete project work as assigned, including scrubbing/stripping and refinishing of hard floors, carpet cleaning, wall washing, trash removal, biohazardous linens and sharps container removal, and curtain cleaning
• Actively participate in and accomplish Service Excellence initiatives to meet department goals
• Adhere to all hospital safety standards in the use of chemicals, equipment and machinery and in clearly marking hazardous areas resulting from cleaning processes
• Adhere to the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the hospital as well as regulatory bodies
