Environmental Services Technician

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be an integral part of our team at Northwestern Medicine, working in a part-time, evening shift. You will be responsible for maintaining patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms, and other assigned areas daily. This includes collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces. You will also be responsible for promoting safety in the workplace, using wet floor signs, PPE, and not leaving housekeeping cart or supplies unattended.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms, and other assigned areas daily. You will also be responsible for following policies and procedures on patient isolation and contact precautions, stocking paper items and other supplies in assigned areas, and maintaining cart and equipment in clean, working condition.
