Role OverviewWe're seeking a motivated and mission-driven individual to oversee technical staff working on cleanup programs such as CERCLA, RCRA, and voluntary action plans at hazardous waste facilities and federal sites across central and southeast Ohio. You'll assign and track workloads, review technical documents, and help ensure the team meets program goals.
What You Will Do
Supervise regional staff assigned to cleanup projects for hazardous waste and federal sites. Manage staff workload and track progress to ensure timely project completion. Communicate with the public and responsible parties about compliance and cleanup requirements.

Requirements
- 5 years of training or experience in a position involving engineering or chemistry, physics, biology, and/or other comparable science field
- 6 months of training or experience as a lead worker
- Valid Ohio certificate of registration as sanitarian or valid Ohio certificate as sanitarian-in-training (for positions in the solid waste program)
- 12 months of experience as an Environmental Specialist 2
