Role OverviewThe Environmental Technician supports non-hazardous waste management and recycling activities, responds to spills, and performs hands-on cleaning and maintenance activities.
What You Will Do
Operate forklifts, clean equipment and work areas, respond to spills, maintain facility grounds, and conduct inspections.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment with environmental responsibilities
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to pass training upon hire
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Ability to read operational, technical, and/or safety related instructions
- Familiarity with hazardous materials and waste
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted and be able to wear personal protective equipment
- Experience using heavy and light equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, lifting equipment, pressure washer and other cleaning tools
- Good communication and people skills
