Role OverviewWe are looking for an Environmental Test Engineer to join the Launch, Integration, and Test department at Firefly Aerospace. In this role, you will be an integral part of Test Team, developing test plans, designing test fixtures, managing the performance/execution of tests for product development, acceptance, and qualification.
What You Will Do
Lead test planning, set-up, and execution of launch vehicle/spacecraft component testing, author and review test procedures, review finalized test data and report packages, and lead root cause investigations and document findings.

Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of related experience in Aerospace testing
- Familiarity with vibration, shock, and thermal testing
- Experience with failure investigations, root cause analysis, and non-conformances
- Knowledge of LabView software
- Strong knowledge of hardware schematics, lab test equipment, oscilloscopes, instrumentation, DAQ systems
- Ability to work independently with accelerated schedules
- Strong documentation and communication skills
