Role OverviewThis position is responsible for developing training curriculum and training plans for staff to use Epic effectively, perform clinical workflows, and maintain clinical competency. The role requires a coordinated and collaborative approach with multiple departments.
What You Will Do
Develop structured onboarding orientation and training for new hires, assess Epic and skill-based training needs, and provide backup support to the EHR Support Analyst in end-user support.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 1-2 years of Epic experience, experience as an Epic Trainer, and knowledge of adult learning theories and teaching strategies. Must obtain EHR Support Analyst Certification and Clinical Content Builder Certification within three and six months of employment, respectively.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Epic experience
- Experience as an Epic Trainer, Skills-Based Trainer, EHR Support Analyst, or similar role
- 3-4 years of elbow-to-elbow training experience
- 1-2 years of classroom training experience
- Training documentation experience
- Basic/intermediate project coordination experience
- Associate's degree (AA) or a graduate of an accredited medical or dental training program with at least two years' experience in that role
- EHR Support Analyst Certification within three months of employment
- Clinical Content Builder Certification within six months of employment
