Job Description
This position is responsible for the maintenance of the turf equipment for Troon Golf Courses in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The Equipment Manager is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall management of all equipment used in golf course operations.

Requirements

  • Performs troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment, including mowing equipment, tractors, power tools, hand tools, golf carts, and related golf equipment
  • Maintains a preventative maintenance program for all equipment; purchases repair parts and replacement supplies
  • Places orders for parts and supplies as needed; tracks expenses and inventory for budget purposes
  • Trains all employees in the proper operation and maintenance of machinery and vehicles
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent
