Role OverviewJoin the City of Essex Junction's Public Works team as an Equipment Operator / Maintenance Technician. The role involves operating trucks and equipment for road, sidewalk, and utility maintenance, as well as performing excavation, asphalt/concrete work, and infrastructure repairs. The successful candidate will be on-call for snow removal and must live within 60 minutes of Essex Junction.
What You Will Do
Operate trucks and equipment, plow, salt, and sand streets and sidewalks, perform excavation and infrastructure repairs, maintain water/sewer systems and buildings, and support special events and cross-departmental projects.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license & good driving record
- CDL preferred
- Basic mechanical and computer skills
