Job Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is seeking an energetic and passionate Equipment Operator 3 to work at Zaleski State Forest. The role involves operating heavy motorized construction equipment, maintaining forest roads and trails, and providing wildland fire protection.

Requirements

  • Class A Commercial Driver's License with no restrictions
  • 9 months of training or experience in operation of heavy motorized equipment
  • 9 months of training or experience in operation and maintenance of sawmill and logging equipment
  • 9 months of training or experience in forest fire suppression techniques and timber stand improvement principles and techniques
  • Valid commercial driver's license
  • Basic Firefighter Introduction to Fire Behavior Course (S-130/S-190) certification
