Job Description
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Equipment Operator 4 within the Division of Forestry, headquartered at Maumee State Forest, assigned to Fulton county. The position requires a Class A Commercial Driver's License with no restrictions and involves operating heavy motorized equipment to complete construction and maintenance functions.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license
  • Formal education in arithmetic to include fractions, decimals & percentages & to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
  • 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in operation of heavy construction equipment (e.g., 10 ton crawler, large cranes, 10 ton backhoe, 18 ton dozer, over 44,000 pound gradall, truck mounted excavator) & related safety practices
  • Basic Firefighter Introduction to Fire Behavior Course (S-130/S-190) for positions in Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry Wildfire Program only
