Role OverviewThe Equipment Operator/Grounds operates heavy equipment for grounds and maintenance, under the direct supervision of the Manager or designee. Regular hours are 6 am-2:30 pm M-F, with occasional weather events requiring work outside regular hours. The role involves operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, loading and unloading materials, and performing ground maintenance functions.
What You Will Do
Operate heavy equipment, perform routine maintenance, load and unload materials, mix and apply sand, salt, and gravel, operate two-way radios, and perform ground maintenance functions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has 2 years of landscape or equipment operator experience, a valid CDL and Hoisting License, and knowledge of motor vehicle and heavy equipment operation laws and regulations.
