Job Description
The City and County of Denver is seeking an Equipment Operator I to join the Wastewater Management Division. The position involves operating light- to medium-sized industrial equipment, conducting vehicle inspections, and performing manual labor in support of construction and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate has experience working in various weather conditions and environments, and knowledge of city streets and maps.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of general labor experience, including six (6) months of experience operating light to medium sized equipment
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL "B") with appropriate endorsements
  • Ability to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records in English
