Job Description
Role Overview

Performs semi-skilled and skilled truck driving, heavy equipment operation, and other duties for construction, repair, and maintenance projects in Davis County Public Works.

What You Will Do

Drives trucks, operates heavy equipment, performs manual labor, cleans and maintains storm drains, sets up traffic control devices, and inspects and operates various equipment.

Requirements

  • High school graduation plus one (1) year of full-time truck driving experience.
  • Valid Class B Utah Commercial Driver License and a Driver's Medical Card.
  • Possess a valid Class A CDL within six (6) months of hire.
  • High school graduation plus two (2) years of full-time experience driving equipment of similar type and size.
  • Valid Class A CDL Commercial Driver License and a Driver's Medical Card.
  • Forklift Operations Training, Hazard Communications Training, UDOT Highway Operations Safety School, and Construction Traffic Control Training.
  • Utah State Pesticide Control license depending on the position.
