Job Description
We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join the VDOT Richmond District Pavement Marking Crew. This role involves setting up and relocating work zone signs during paint operations, supporting safe and efficient roadway marking projects.

Requirements

  • Basic Work Zone Certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate handheld and hands-free communication devices while driving
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow directions
  • Ability to speak English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb steps
  • Ability to work outdoors during summer months
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with others
